In 2010, SACE conducted a pilot project to determine the impact of supporting medical undergraduate and postgraduate community engagement projects. A selection of medical undergraduate and postgraduate projects were supported as a result of their focus on community identified health needs, their potential to promote collaboration between different specialties, and provide learners with the opportunity to strengthen their advocacy and communication skills.
We are committed to providing similar opportunities to future undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. Unfortunately, this funding opportunity will not be available for the 2014 – 2015.
