Integrating study, service and scholarship to address health determinants through community engagement
This is a community engagement initiative of the University of British Columbia working to promote and support the growth of socially responsive activities and attitudes of the medical school through community based learning activities and ongoing participation in strategic planning efforts. Since 2010, the Social Accountability and Community Engagement (SACE) initiative has worked with community members, faculty, residents, and undergraduate medical students to address the health needs of underserved populations in British Columbia.
